Dedications and Thanks:

*This entire project is dedicated to Lara Helmer who bravely chose to leave this harsh, cruel world in November 2016. Although I miss her every single waking moment of every day, I know the pain and struggle that ended up being just too much for her battle-wearied soul. As much as I long to see and talk to her, I would not call her back to this world, were it in my power to do so; for me to do so would truly be the height of selfishness. Lara was a strong supporter of my music specifically, and she was a great lover of music in general. She was for the underdog and always encouraged me to keep making music even when it seemed like no one was listening. A Collection of Tears is for her.

*The track Another Coin is dedicated to Tom Kane. Because... if only I could, then I would.

*Thanks must go to Chris Chambers, my fellow Secret Magpie, for turning an aging pianist into a proper guitarist. This is no mean feat.

*Unending gratitude to Jamie. Being married to a musician is difficult. The late nights, the strange places (and people), the frustration of sharing my attention and devotion with the music - Music: the most jealous lover of them all.
